We went to Nick and Lacee’s to watch the Super Bowl (yes people…I’m that far behind!) and there was the cutest little cheerleader there…named Lakyn!
Check out those cheeks!
Once dinner was grilled Landon decided he wanted to eat all of Uncle Nick’s ketchup. He is definitely my child when it comes to ketchup.
A couple days later I was in Wal-Mart and came across the cutest fabrics that would go great for our bulletin boards at church. One for our Young Married Couples Sunday School Class and the other for MOPs.
I have been interested in MOPs for awhile now and if you click here you can learn about it too! I’m so glad my church could be a part of such a wonderful organization.
The theme behind the two are the one on the left is for our class. I trimmed it in blue deco mesh and put the Marriage Prayer in the middle. I’m working on getting a picture of each couple with their names and wedding dates just to kind of introduce us to the church. Some of us, including myself, are still new to the church so I thought it was a good idea. The other is for MOPs. Something bright, colorful and fun!
We have been having a ton of rain/bad weather lately and Jason gave Landon a little flashlight to play with while the lights were flickering. Well…it’s his new favorite toy!
We have also been working on going potty. He will be 3 in May and I know boys are supposed to potty train slower but I’m sick of buying diapers! He finally sat on it and went potty!
We are also really into dinosaurs right now so we decided that’s what our 3rd birthday party theme will be! He will run around the house roaring at everyone and saying, “I dinosaur! ROOOAAR!”
Notice we have to take these MASSIVE things everywhere!
And last but not least I, the worst wife ever, have FINALLY hung some of our wedding pictures!
These were my absolutely favorite! I finally had the money to enlarge them, the time to frame them, and the place to put them.
Stay tunes for our Texas trip!
