Our lazy, relaxing weekend!

So I didn't have to work this weekend! Woohoo! I usually sign up for a few extra hours here and there so when I get a whole weekend I get really excited!
Originally I had this list of stuff to do:
1) Clean out Landon's closet
2) Clean out the office/coat/craft closet
3) Mop the floors
4) Do laundry - check!
Well so #4 is really all that I've done. I have actually had the best time just playing with Landon and spending time with my hubby. It's been raining all weekend so we've watched some movies, wrestled with Landon in the floor (that's his new favorite thing).
We grilled venison shush kabobs last night with onions and green bell peppers. YUMMO! And for our sides we have oven roasted potatoes, corn on the cob, and a grilled onion with left over peppers.
For dessert I wanted to try a new little recipe that I found on Pinterest.
Homemade Fudgesicles
1/3 cup of Nutella
1 cup of milk (I used 2%)
Wisk them together until Nutella is dissolved.
I got my little popsicle maker from Dollar Tree (where I buy everything else) It's the perfect size for Landon some yummy popsicles!
Pour your mixture in your popsicle holder.
And lastly cover and chill.
They taste great! The only problem I ran into is that I think I chilled them too long. It said chill for 2 hours but I did like 3-4 and it was hard getting them out completely intact. I may look for a different type of popsicle maker but for now this will do!
Since the rain came down all weekend we have put Landon's tent up inside for him to play in.
He had the best time crawling out of the "window" on the side. Boys...
We have also decided that we like wearing our hat now...just like Daddy...
And last but not least, we got a Woody doll from one of the doctors I work with when she went to Disney World! He loves it! He knows how to pull the string to make him talk and everything! Such a smart boy!
Thank you Dr. Bish!
