4th of July 2014

Daddy was unable to get off work for the 4th so I decided to go ahead and take Landon to the lake with my parents. So we loaded up once I got off at noon and headed to the cabin!

Our first night there is usually made up of unloading the car and get settled in…so the next morning started the fun festivities!

This is honestly the most beautiful thing to wake up to!

Coffee on this porch is better than coffee anywhere else…I don’t know why but I can sit out here all day and just watch fish jump, ducks swim and kids riding their bikes…

My sweet boy was all excited to go to the “beach” so I loaded him up and took him down there. It was just me and him for about an hour and it was great

After the water it was lunch and a good nap

After dinner we all loaded up and road down to the water to wait on the fireworks. They shoot them up over the shallow part of the lake

We had the best time. He wasn’t afraid of the noise at all

Once we got back to the cabin we played with the fireworks I bought on the way up the day before. I got poppers, smoke bombs and sparkers. He loved them! So we lit all 12!

The next day Landon asked to go to the pool so we did and he had a great time. Shortly after that we loaded up to come home

I just love that little face!
