Candy Bouquet Tutorial

So in the midst of this INCREDIBLY busy week I made a candy bouquet for a friend at work who turned the big 4 0. I was looking around on Pinterest and I saw something like it but made it more of my own!
So first off you pick a vase that you like (I bought everything, yes everything, from the Dollar Tree to make this bouquet). I filled my vase with gum balls (because turning 40 blows HAHA!)
Cover the top of the vase with clear wrap. This will be the base for your Styrofoam. Put a gracious amount of hot glue on top of the clear wrap and place your Styrofoam on top. I added some ribbon because we had a decorating theme going on for her party!
Let it set for a few minutes to give the glue time to dry. You are now ready for your candy for the top. In my friend's case I used suckers because turning 40 also sucks!
I used a mixture of blow pops, tootsie roll pops, and dum dums. Just stick the suckers down into the Styrofoam and keep filling until you don't see anymore little holes anywhere.
My friend was very excited and everyone got a kick out of it! It only took me about 30 minutes to make and that was only because I had to stop to fix Landon some juice!

  1. Greetings from Ohio! I'm bored at work so I decided to browse your
website on my iphone during lunch break. I
really like the info you present here and can't wait to take a look when I get home.

I'm shocked at how fast your blog loaded on my cell phone
.. I'm not even using WIFI, just 3G .. Anyhow, very good blog!

  2. Woah! I'm really digging the template/theme of this blog.
It's simple, yet effective. A lot of times it's very hard to get that "perfect balance" between user friendliness and appearance.
I must say you've done a amazing job with this.

Also, the blog loads super fast for me on Firefox. Superb Blog!

  3. Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of any widgets I could
add to my blog that automatically tweet my newest twitter updates.

I've been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this.
Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy
reading your blog and I look forward to your new updates.

    1. I usually just use the ones that the site provides. Like Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest. They all have their own that I just uploaded to the format section of my blogger account. Hope that helps! Thanks for stopping by!
